first of all, the pics will be a little bit bigger than normal b/c I didnt feel like resizing a second time, I resized them before to put them on a digital pic frame for my mom.... anyway, here we go.
1. The CLiffs of Moher, this is where I proposed. It was a little tough b/c of all the tourists, but it worked out in the end.
2. this was in the Burren, a desolate place with nothing but stone. That leads to the next pic.
3. The Dolmen, a megalithic tomb. One of about 90 sites of the era that still survive.
4. my lady in front of the Cathedral in Cobh, the last place the Titanic docked before sailing off shore and sinking.
5. Bridge St. in Galway, we went off for a little getaway for ourselves for a few days.
6. Good ole Farm country, including extremely old High Crosses in the field. This pic ended up a little blurry.
7. Karen, my now Fiance' in front of a castle on our trip through the Burren.
8. St.Finbars Cathedral in Cork.
Overall, this trip was great. I hope my descriptions aren't too short. Basically, the whole Family is from the Cork area. We stayed at my sister inlaws house and drove around from there. We headed up to Galway through Limerick, stopped off in Gort for a Carvary Lunch and were on our way. The next day we got up and headed off through the Burren, south and east of Galway, and enjoyed the sites. The nerves kisked in but I got the "question" out and we were off for a late lunch in Doolin and headed off toward the Hotel for a shower and then a night out on the town in Galway. Lotsa fun, mainly hung around one pub for some traditional Irish music and loved every bit.
