OK, I hate to do this, but frankly, I just don't have time. I haven't worked on the car since September and really haven't had any interest doing so going forward. What I have is one very seriously damaged car. I have replaced the front subframe, floors, a-pillars and such with a front clip off another car. This is by no means a numbers matching car since there is nothing left that came from the factory (and I mean nothing). I do have a build sheet. The car is an early build 1970 R/T SE 440 with A-32 package. Pwr steering, PDB, rim blow, auto with 4.10 Dana. None of that stuff is on the car. Here is the kicker though, the car was EF8 with a V9J Chartrues bumble bee stripe. The car suffered a major accident necassitating the replacement of everything from the torsion bar cross member forward. It didn't help that a previous owner torched out the drive train and cut through the rockers and a-pillars. I haven't remounted the cowl with the numbers yet. And the inner fenders need to be replaced with 70 pieces. I put a lot of thought and work into the grafting on the front clip to maximize strength and amount of 70 shell material retained. I also removed the original roof skin which was majorly damaged and have replacement ready for welding. I have 86 hours of work on this already. I estimate another 200 to 250 to get the body solid again. It still needs quarters, trunk extensions, and possibly trunk floor pan, plus a bunch of patches.
This isn't for the faint of heart, but if you are crafty, then this will probably be a good project. I hope to scare away any speculators, this will be a labor of love. If I don't sell, I will probably shelve it until I get motivated again. If you are serious, drop me an email. I see a lot of talented people on this board and this project would reqire talent like that, or a big bank account. Car is located outside Buffalo NY. I am asking $3500 for the car as it sits (no roller). I have collected some Challenger parts which will be offered to the buyer for additional costs, else I will sell them sperately. But they are very few.
