Yes that fluffy white stuff that falls from the sky and makes your life a living hel!.
All arteries from the northern deserts of southern CA, to the valleys are closed. I have been driving in it for the last ten hours, and I am stranded in Victorville, thirty miles from my home.
All the hotels are full and only by luck, and a good friends help, I have a room in a flea bag motel, where I have to put a chair against the door to make sure I don’t get robbed.
The People of California do not know how to drive in snow. I helped five people get un-stranded because they spun out and got stuck. I also drove by many more who were too stuck and or to stupid to help. I witnessed many a spin outs from people who drive to fast for the conditions.
I got as close as three miles to escaping this hell, on a 158 mile detour, only to be turned around because of accidents and having to drive all the way back.
Oh well at least I am safe and warm and don’t have to sleep in my car, so thing could be worse. No all I have to do is get home tomorrow, if they decide to open the roads.
