Aluminum struts replace old bent or broken struts. Replacement is easy once the suspension has been disassembled. These struts are stronger and lighter than the original steel components. They are manufactured from modern 7075-T651 aluminum, which is known for properties that are superior to 30-year old steel. They are .875-in. diameter instead of approx .700-in. for original steel struts and only weigh 36 percent as much as it's steel counterpart. Bushings are not included, however we do sell both rubber and poly bushings in addition to the struts.
