Lol. Ash was never really a car girl, though her dad used to own a classic Mustang so she'd like to have one of those. But if I ever get her one, I'll still be the one restoring/maintaining it.
When we first met, all I had was the Stratus. I had done some visual "mods" to it, and when she first got in my car she looked around and goes, "ooo, I like this..." That was good enough for me.
Obviously it didn't take her long to learn that I was a Viper freak. The dream of owning a 'Cuda surfaced when I went to WyoTech - by then we had been together for a few years. So when I started finding these cars and talking about buying them, she knew they weren't impulse buys. So she's always been supportive, even if she doesn't really understand or share my appreciation. I try to make sure I spend money on her, too - though I should probably share a bit more than I do.
But her school loans are also 50% more than mine are, so she knows a lot of money goes there. She's also not your typical material girl. Give her a soft, fuzzy blanket, turn on the food network and leave 'er be.
