So, what'd you buy your wife or girlfriend?
« on: December 19, 2008 - 09:52:20 AM »
Saw this topic over on the Viper board...  Things are slow today so I thought I'd goof off a bit.

Ash is getting a (used) laptop - it's what she wanted.  We found a great deal on Ebay for an HP with decent specs.  She just wants to be able to sit on the couch and check email, chat with friends, etc.

Also getting her a Peacoat from the US Navy.  My sister - stationed in Seattle - picked it up and shipped it to us.  I got us webcams so we can chat with each other without needing a phone, and also a game for her Nintendo Wii - mini golf.  :)

By the way - my Cats are getting the biggest and bestest gift out of ALL of us - I got them a 7 foot tall cat "condo" unit from Ebay - this thing has like, 6 "floors," 2 "apartments", 2 ramps, three real high platforms, little hanging yarn balls on elastic string...  all covered in this SUPER soft carpeting.  We put it together last weekend and let them check it out for a few minutes.  They LOVED it, and we loved watching them.

I can't WAIT for Christmas morning.  :)  I swear I'm still 8 years old!

lol   I don't even have a tree yet. I don't have anyone coming by except for a memeber from mcg publishing may stay for Christmas and a couple of days.

My wife will be happy with anything I give her, same as me. A 5 dollar gift or a card is ok.  She can always have anything she wants for the most part.

But she does get lost when driving and sometimes drives 1500 miles to see me, so I may buy her a garmin.

I just recently broke up with my girlfriend, so I am giftless this year.  I am not sure if that is a good thing or not.  :clueless:

Clinton, I'd buy you a gift and you are welcome to come over to our house for a family Christmas dinner.   We have no big plans going on.  Or you can browse through what I have and pick your own e body gift.   Right now I am in Seattle with a flight delay...But will BE HOME FOR CHRISTMAS

I got my wife the CD/DVD of "Hit Man", it's a concert of David Foster and friends.  If you watch PBS it's been playing here and there.  Very relaxing nice music.  Amazon.com has a decent price and frre shipping.  Also be getting her other nick nacks when I shop with the kids next week.  They always like to buy things for their Mom.  Makes them feel good.  :grinyes:
