My wife loves old books.  I let her pick them out though.  Although occasionally I find some neat old ones on jobs.

Tom

I built her these bookshelves to hold them.

Thanks stroker,

Key is to buy premade shelving units in unfinished wood and install trim and accessories to customize it.  It cost me 800 or so for the prebuilt sections and another 200 for the mouldings.  It priced out flat stock to build the shelves  and it was 1200 alone for the pine and plywood.  Nevermind the labot to build them.  Although I work for free.lol

These wrap around the corner of the room, made her very happy, happy enough to let me buy my 70..... :woo:

Clinton, I'd buy you a gift and you are welcome to come over to our house for a family Christmas dinner.   We have no big plans going on.  Or you can browse through what I have and pick your own e body gift.   Right now I am in Seattle with a flight delay...But will BE HOME FOR CHRISTMAS

Thanks for the offer Alan, but if I do not spend Christmas day with my family, they get disappointed.  I am so glad you are able to spend Christmas at home with your family.

I've bought my wife one of those electronic picture frames.    :2thumbs:   I went for the 12" screen.
I bought her one for her birthday. I loaded the pictures of our children & grandchildren onto a memory stick but she uses it at her work and loves it. She sometimes brings it home so come Christmas day she will have one at home as well.    :woohoo:
How many of us have plenty of pictures on our computor and haven't printed them?   :picture:

I like those photo frames.  That was very thoughtful of you to pre-load her memory stick!
