Welcome to my world... Like Snow??
« on: December 19, 2008 - 09:58:58 AM »
Here in the MIDWEST we are in the middle of a blizzard. Had to drive the wife to work early this mornin'. Cause the mall NEVER closes this close to Christmas!  :screwy: Any way we have 8-10 inch so far and another 4-6 before it passes later today.  I had to pull off the freeway once to break the buildup off my wipers. All my guys made it in tho...  Though you'd might like to see before I break out the equpt in the last pic. I'll be living there the rest of the day!  :woo:

That's why I moved from Iowa to Arizona. We have been here for three winters now and I don't miss the snow at all.

Now you see, I'd really enjoy that kind of weather IF I had a brand new Land Rover...  :)  Maybe an H1...  Then I'd be like, "Bring it on!!!"

Don't get me wrong, I had alot of fun pushing snow in my old Dodge!! But the winters there are sooo long. Starts in November and ends around April. I worked at a job that kept me on the road alot and I just got tired of driving in it. When I was younger it was fun, but I guess I'm too old for it now. Don't miss it, nope, not a bit :grinno:

WOW that is a lot of snow.  I wish that would happen here.  If it did, the whole state would shut down.

It's snowing here in NY too.  I just got home from work a few minutes ago.  Took almost an hour when it is usually a 10 minute drive.  I thik we have about 8-9 inches of snow so far and they are saying there are a few more hours of snow left at 2-3 inches an hour.  I hate it but my dogs love it so much that I would feel guilty moving to a warmer state.

We are under another Blizzard Warning for the weekend. It's supposed to start this afternoon. Looks like we are going to have a replay of last weekend. We already got 6 movies and a ton of snacks to sit tight.
