Ours - I provide is the muscle for moving and setup, the height to put the star on and the energy to clean up afterwards.

Thanks!  I am so glad you posted a picture of the house, I love Victorians!  I was going to ask for a pic of the house but didn't want to seem weird!  LOL.  The tree and house are beautiful!  Thanks for sharing!

PS  I have the same penguin thing you have on the table next to the victorian tree.  My mother in law made it for me in her ceramics class.

I showed my wife your post...she laughed and said...whats so weird about looking at house pics..now cars; thats weird.

 :roflsmiley:

There is something about living in an old house..we really enjoy it. Moved from a house we bought new to this place 11 years ago, it was built in 1891 by a local contractor as his personal house. It's a lot of work keeping up the "Painted Lady" paint scheme, i spend at least 100-150 hrs each year painting. All the paint details dont show up in the lit up Christmas decoration pics. Thanks for the comments April andMr 6 pak.

April, my wife made that penguin in ceramics class too.

Don't be ashamed of your home.  I wouldn't be embarrassed to come by and see you and visit.  I never judge anyone on how they dress, or where they live.  Just viewing your manor in your typing says you are a good hearted person.

If it helps, I put 26k cash down on my dbl wide and about have it paid for now. So I live in a trailer also.  I do have a shop and a little land. It is paid for.  So now as I get old, this is the last place I will own and be payment free with low taxes to.

I didn't even put up a tree, there's nobody here, but I am listening to Christmas music right now.   I have had all the toys and homes most dream of through out the years, and also kept up with the jones. But there is no place like comfort and peace.  I can build a fire in my back yard, run no exhaust on my cars or tags, and hear the whisper of the streams across the fields.

So if you have a tree, I would be honored to see it.

Hey 6pak, the size of your home makes no difference, it is the love inside that really matters.  You have a wife and child who both love you.  Remeber, home is where the heart is!

PS: Repeat after me, the tree is not leaning, the tree is not leaning, in the first picture (it's an Optical Contusion).
