We relocated an ECU on a Barracuda we rewired. Put the ecu under the battery tray, out of sight. I have an MSD box mounted on the inside...

Well the old Chrysler system dates back to the early 70's and it makes no more power than a good dual point on the dyno, so for that price what do you have to lose? Looks like a DUI type system with an external coil. They got some rave reviews in a Mopar magazine. I think Steve Dulchich is a reliable source, and if he says it's one of the best upgrades he ever did and instantly made the engine start and idle better, I believe it.

Well a reman Chrysler distributor probably costs $50, so you get what you pay for.

True, but that doesn't include a "brain" box.

I know. The whole MP kit is expensive now and just a rebuilt dist costs almost as much as the HEI (My point... :2thumbs: )

Looks like the vac can is not adjustable. And what about the mechanical advance adjustability? Is there a spring kit, and can the total be set?

Don't know  :clueless: The DUI's are supposed to work great just dropping them in and hooking up one wire.

Can't vouch for them personally, just what I've seen in a few articles. The big block car they used one on made more RWHP than any car ever tested on the rollers at SLP, including numerous modified Z06 Vettes.
