There was just one place in the mountains where the roads were wet. So what you are looking at took less than an hour.   :faint:

Did not take long to latch itself on to your car, i hope that stuff washes off easy enough.  Do you guys have a jet wash that you drive over to clean the underside of your cars aswell ?

I am in New York the stuff they put down here is extreme , melts ice and snow but eats metal real fast thats why I have a winter driver and a summer driver.........

btw in N.Y. 12 hours  before the storm the DOT crews spray the main roads with a liquid that dries on the pavement then as the snow gets plowed they spread rock  salt with a liquid that is added as it comes off the spreader, I  heard it is either calcium cloride or magnisium cloride  :dunno:,,,,,,,,, , what ever it is its bad don't come to N.Y. with a sweet ride like that 08 Challenger.........

Man, its a wonder there is any salt left on earth with the amount they seem to put on roads up there. No wonder you guys freak when you see a real rust free car lol. That is an INSANE amount of salt on that car there Mike.  :scared:

In the words of an ex-president "I Feel your Pain".  :roflsmiley: But Seriously Folks, with a 1/4 of Michigan on top of a salt mine we get plenty of salt.  To make matters worse I live on a gravel road which the put/pour calcium cloride on to hold down the dust in the summer.  So the corrorsion process is year round, isn't that nice!

After we get the boat out of the ocean fishing all day we use this scrubbing it down.

Get some at a marine store, mix it up with water and put it in a pest control pressure sprayer and get to work.

Hurry the stores are closing soon.  :stomp:

about 25 years ago I was up in Nova Scotia, Canada and they did this thing called "Misting" alot of the auto shops advertised misting for like 20 dollars,,,,,,, I think it was just spraying the under carriage with a light oil or something.........   Maybe someone up in Canada can tell us what Misting was all about???
