A flat spot sounds like a carb metering problem. Maybe you just need a 800 Thunder AVS. It'll still look bone stock.
Maybe you are right, it would be worth going a different intake at that stage I guess and perhaps an open element K&N air cleaner. Anyone know what intake would go well with a stock 440, heads and all? That combo would be good for at least 30hp. Sounds like what I am after. Also, how much is too much in terms of cfm for a stock 440ci engine, 850cfm?
