You could use that same logic to knock a bunch of cars off that list including the shelby cars.

Good point there.....  :working:

I am sure it has to be some variation of Viper. Probably the limited Racing version that was stripped down but had a naturally aspirated 750 hp. I think it was made around 97 or 98. I would love to see one of those on the street but they were not made for street driving.

Not a race car,I am talking about a car any Joe like me or you could buy,and it cost less than $20.000.Just keep in mind-power to weight ratio= most bang for the buck :cooldancing:

To your point-how many "real" super stock hemi darts are around? They are probably worth a million dollars now as well!

Even though the newer cars kill any old musclecar when there is the slightest turning of the sterring wheel involved it is still amazing what kind of records these old cars can still hold. Reminders of a time before safety regulations, modern conveniences, and lawyers suing the pants off everyone.

A real SS hemi dart was on e-bay a couple of weeks ago, the bidding ended around 300K.

After 40 years of development, the newer cars should outrun the old cars. The fact that the 60's hemis are still at the top of the list shows how well designed the hemi was.

The SRT-4? I dunno. I bet a GLHS would give a bunch of ricers a run for their money.

Now you got me wondering? It was the Iroc R/T,but that neon SRT-4 might have pulled ahead of it.
Not a Hemi car I know, but think about this?Weighs as much as a pinto with almost 250HP and had a better top speed than a new Vette of the same year.

There's a couple Veyron's around.
Here's one I got to tear apart to install some anti-police equipment in.

I'd take a SS/Hemi car over this one any day.

The whole bottom of this car was one solid sheet of carbon fiber.
