Had to move my racecar, with spole rear, around a corner, - who would try to push it.???

So I fired it up - shortly, then I lost a nut.. :swear:

Where will I find this rocker adjusting nut now..???

If it wasn't under the valve cover with the rest of the valve gear, then the next best thing you can hope for is that it is in the lifter galley and has not dropped any further.  I would pull the intake and take a look.  If it isn't there, time to drop the oil pan.  Also, while you are looking around, make sure and check all moving parts that could have had contact with the "escaped" nut for any damage.....   Good luck......     :2thumbs:

By the way, - this is not the first time for this - any alternatives for the "Crane" rockers, - or is it just bad luck..???

This rocker aint got no name or number - What is it.???  Indy..???

What fab is the pushrods, only says 9.000 - 125..???

I use either Crane Iron rockers or the Comp Pro Magnum roller rockers , not alum

I have Crane gold rockers in the 1.6 flavor. I hate seeing anything like that. The adjuster just snapped in half? Man this is not confidence inspiring. For the record, I was trying to get the ductile iron Cranes in 1.6 ratio but at the time I needed them they were on national backorder  :pullinghair:  Please give us an update when you get it sorted out.

How old are  these rockers?  About 10-15 years ago Crane had a quality control problem with their adjusters, they were the wrong hardness and broke often.

Maybe it was just overtightened? I've snapped a few off over the years.

The engine was built 4-5 years ago.. 3. time a crane rocker snaps the adjuster..???
