I went back to work Friday. We were busy, since most people around here were off work. But that was good for me.    It really helped out with me being off work for a week sick, with no pay.

I've been off since Dec. 19th., and school doesn't start up until Jan. 6th. So far, I don't have a class sceduled to work until the 7th.

I'm working five weeks on, five weeks off. It's not bad being at sea, home from Dec. 18th to Jan. 19th.
No work on the Chally yet though, been visiting family other places in the country, and besides, it's pretty cold in my garage these days anyway. Got much old wiring to replace, but it's probably no sense in doing that while everything thin and plastic is brittle from the cold, and my fingers are frozen numb and my head is frozen dumb.

I know what you are saying for sure.  Was unemployed several times before I came over here to be a contractor.  It took me all year to get back caught up and not sure I am all the way yet.  I am going to stay another year just because of that fact.  Gordon

We were supposed to be closed from Dec 24th to Jan. 5th.  Ended up having to work the 24th, had to go in yesterday, going in today, and probably even tomorrow.  Sucks because I was planning on doing a bunch of stuff on the RR clone and my new Duster.  At least my company is so busy that we cannot get all of that time off.  I guess I just wish the owners weren't so flaky about scheduling.  They actually made 2nd shift come in on Christmass Eve until 10pm and then *****ed when enough product did not get out of the door!  I was a little vocal yesterday to one of the other Account Managers about how poorly she is managing customer expectations...

Been put to work around the house so far.LOL  I have to go to a customers house for something small, but He is a great customer.

I did work this past weekend (that's OT for me!!) but I am off till the 5th of Jan which means I get bored and too cold to do too much outside, so I get bad and spend money and go shopping in Guy stores. Like the tool dept of Sears, Northern Tools, Bass Pro Shops, buying guy stuff like hunting, fishing, guns, tools, car stuff on-line. I've already been bad and spent a TON at Bass Pro Shops. Got a new gun and lots of ammo. Got new pnuematic tools from Sears and plan on doing more shopping today!! I am having Fun!! Oh, I hope you are feeling better Jackie.
