1971 B2 Cuda project
« on: December 28, 2008 - 11:29:26 PM »
I have owned my 71 Cuda since October 1977 and in October 2002 I took the car apart.  As with many car projects, this rebuild has taken on a life of its own and has become more than I expected when I started on it.  What was supposed to be a simple clean-up turned into a nut and bolt disassembly and re-assembly that I hope to have finished by this spring.  The original 383, auto trans and 8.75 rear end are now in the corner of the garage after having been replaced with a 500, auto, Dana combination.  My Cuda has been my hot rod for 30 years and it is staying that way.  Here are a few pictures taken along the way.

I call mine my 10 year project... but it went past the 10 year mark. Doh! Working on it hard now though. :)
