« on: December 29, 2008 - 10:22:06 PM »
WIW?   I might sell the dana out of my car. I got other things i'm thinking about.

The dana has a good powerlok, 354 gear, moser 35 spine axles, green bearings, e body width. This was a truck dana I just had converted over. It doesn't have 200 miles on it yet. No issues

The perch pads and width is stock e body dementions

Drew, you are right. I am putting it all back just the way it came. 318  4 speed  323 sure grip. 14 inch wheels n hub caps.  I have every single item it came with. Even the flat hood.  I was only missing the engine and lost the passenger door mirror some where and Hemiken bought me on.

I keep wanting to build this car up with more and more. Was even going to put my race engine in it.   So I am building another street car now and going to sell these parts to cover the cost of the stroker and stuff for the daytona.

Soooooo dana 60  354 e body...WIW :2thumbs:

looks like a new one from Moser is...
MOSER 60
  Complete Moser 60 -   $1784
*Complete Dana 60 rear includes new, bare, Dana 60 Housing, seamless steel tubing (3" OD, 1/4" wall), new housing ends, Custom Alloy Axles, wheel bearings, wheel studs, & retainer plates. Also includes Moser Full Spool (35 spline), 3.73-4.56 Pro Street gears, 1350 series cast Pinion Yoke, Chrome Cover, and Assembly.

So maybe $1200.00 or $1500.00  :dunno:

Does it have snubber provision? This is what usually makes the truck Dana's different and unfortunately, less valuable.

Nope. I was going to get the kit from doc differential. It's a simple weld on and inexpensive :2thumbs:

First the snubber provision are only $75 from Dr Diff

That moser/ strange stuff $1785 but then you have to add on brakes/lines and stuff... Its more like $2100+ range after its all said and done / taxes also now  :working:

I just did my dana with all new stuff... I save about 350+ish dollars over buying a new strange/moser setup...

I have yet to see a complete used "dana" go for under $1500 on moparts...

Dr Diff does the vintage dana housing setups for $3000

For some reason the Dana stuff holds its value more than just about any old mopar part ......

 :working:

I personally would give alan $1500 for his dana all day long.......

I will also add that this one is not a spool. It is the correct powerlok which is just not easy to find with a good price and ready to go. If I end up keeping the dana. Cas is going to send me the stuff for the snubber, or he told me just how to make it. It is very simple. And cheap enough to get welded on, like 25 bucks :2thumbs:

Alan if you like to barter or wheel & deal with people and let them talk you down a little on price I would ask $1800.00 for your setup complete and then you could settle for a little less if you’re in a mood too.
