You might purchase a set of the 69 A12 six pack hood pin brackets and mount them to the inner fenders in the area of the hood hinge mounts. Or, you could save some cash and make a set. The front pins could just be mounted through the core support tie bar if you didn't want to buy the correct hood pin brackets that bolt to the core support/fender.
Here's a pic of a roadrunner with the hood pin bracket.

The brackets would be the best way to go since mounting the rear pins to the upper cowl would be very difficult without altering the cowl.

nope, wouldnt you know it, i got rid of those arms long ago. i do think that i am going to do the A12 brackets. just wanted to see what others did. i saw a Mr Norms 71 with the lift off hood and they fabricated some hooks that the back of the hood slipped into so that one person could undo the front pins and slide it forward to lift it off.

thanks chris. are the pins through one of the fender bolt holes? looks like the right area. you see where the hood is drilled right now looks like they were further in on the car the hood came off of. I guess i will have to wait and see what the A12 brackets do for me. i am going to order them tomorrow. hopefully they get here by this weekend so that i can install the hood when i get home with it.

I never really paid attention, but I think they are through the las bolt holes. I should have a picture of the hood to. Let me check, you will be able to see where you will end up.
