Yup I don't know what I am talking about cause I am a low poster.....You should talk, yours is lower than mine. And to use that to determine a cars value is beyond me. I have Been around the bend on valuble muscle cars a few times, and that is one of the things I have seen used to cover up all kinds of stuff, and I am not saying this car has any of that. I only said it sends up a red flag to check it all over very carefully if you were a potential buyer. To me, if I were a high end buyer, or one of their people who finds them rare cars, I would point them the other way. It would take too long to check everything under it, and it would take a lot longer to fix it and make it nice again. Its just not something you should see anymore in this day and age. When you buy a 528 hemi, sound deadener is not something you really worry about.
Besides, it seems there are other mismatched parts on the car too. 528 Hemi and a keisler 5speed, that's trouble right there. Seen a whole bunch of those broken by way smaller engines than that. The efi looks a little off too. I would be looking to see what componants were used, and the fuel system design. EFI has some very specific requirements on a 700hp motor, and if its not done right, it will mask all kinds of fuel related issues that hold a lot of performance back. People not use t a 700hp car might not even notice the lack of performance, but the fuel system at that level has to be right...
