Need a car hauled
« on: January 02, 2009 - 08:50:19 PM »
I am in the process of purchasing a car in KY.and would need it hauled to CT.I know I can contact companies that do this.I just figured if someone here was out of work? or just wanted to make a couple of dollars? This is a running driving car so loading it shouldn't be a problem.
                                                            Thanks Doug

I can't help, but it cost me $850 to move a car from Kentucky to Maryland in 2004.  I'll bet you are at or beyond $1100.   :eek7:

I hope not!!

I don't want to say yet,it's not an E-body,but it's a Mopar. The owner and I have agreed on a price and I am just waiting on some info.So until I send him the payment,It's still his and I don't want to jinx it.But as soon as I can I will reveal what it is-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------so stand by :cooldancing:

Fuel costs are down rigth now. It may be a bit cheaper than in recent years.  :clapping:

I considered www.uship.com for my Tacoma I bought from a Lexus dealership in FLA. Its like auctioning your move to the lowest transport company. Movers have feedback from their customers posted. Movers that have scheduled runs can add a pickup cheaper if they know they will be in the area anyway. Most auto transport is brokered anyway but its worth a shot, cost's you nothing to post your move and there are some big name movers that bid there.
