Any e body harness you have
« on: January 04, 2009 - 10:47:22 AM »
If you have any old harnesses you are not useing or wanting, under the hood, dash, steering column. or body harnesses, I am wanting all that I can get. If you have no use for them and just want them gone, please contact me. Doesn't matter if they have been cut on or not.  I use them on projects for members and friends cars and would like to start maybe getting enough together to to assemble some good complete sets useing original stuff.
Contact me here and let me know what you can donate.......ALAN

Hey Al. How does a 70 'cuda tail light harnes sound? You know what I need though? The top tail panel trim peice, any side marker light for 70 (I guess 71's would work), or the switch that is attached to the clutch pedal (too early, can't think). Trade?

Either way, it's yours. Let me know your adress again though.

Al, I eventually will have some harness pieces to send.  I still have to install my Ron Francis kit, but after I do so, I'll send you whatever is left of my old one.  It may be awhile, so I'll check back with you when I'm finished and see if you still want it.

Thanks Greg, I use any and all I get to help anyone in need. We got some issues we will be dealing with on CudaGuy's car just for starters. Eventually hemi426 will be home and may need something. As with any member on the site.  I will put all wireing to good use and maybe try to rebuild some of the harnesses with all the other pieces for future use.

Please don't get upset if I end up offering to other members when they ask. I don't plan on making any profit from this posting :2thumbs:

If you are still looking Al I have a rear harness for my 1972 I don't use. It was cutup by the previous owner and I just bought new at the time.

No problemo. It's in storage but I'm over there fairly often these days. If you aren't in a hurry, give me a couple days to drag it out and see what we're working with. I swapped it out before my electrical knowledge came about, so  it's probably not as 'bad' as I remember.

Al,
Have you found a source for the yellow rubber pigtails on the parking lights and turn signals?

Contact Bill Evans. At Carlisle, they were selling individual pins, plugs, and other wiring parts. They may be able to help.

cudajas posted a link to a Charger place that had electrical parts once but I cant find it....

Wally, thank you :worshippy   A package came to my home today and made a very sick person smile.  Sure seemed to cheer her up... thanks again. And thank you for the harness stuff, I will see what it is when I get home in a few weeks.

Im so glad it made her smile Alan!  anything for a friend.  :drunk: <-Root Beer bottle for Alan.

The harness is ugly, but it has an electronic kit in it. please excuse some of the quick connecting, I was trying everything I could to test it.  :misbehaving:

Wow, that is cool. And you say that you found a junk yard with many cudas and challengers in it that are going to be crushed soon?  How hany cars?  There has got to be some good uesable parts on those cars still.  Maybe jot down some vins for us off rad core supports, doors , dashes or wherever you can get some.  I can't afford just to buy out all the harnesses right now. I was off for 60 days the last 90.  I am just wanting harnesses to help out members as they need it right now.  Keep us informed on what you find and see out there. Got any pictures?
