    Hi Guys .

    Just ínstalllet my new aftermarket intake with a new Holley on my 318 Challenger

    But Will hear you guys what are the best way to run the vacuum hose from to the brake booster. The Holley or intake ?

    She is born without booster  :)

    It should go to your carb.  Even connect the PCV valve to your carb. It's better than connecting it to the intake.

    I would use the intake.
    carb works well too as soon as the vacuum source comes under the carbs "flaps"

    Carb base and intake both draw from the plenum area, no difference between the two.

    I totally disagree
     the booster has to go to the manifold , the Pcv has to go to the carb , if you reverse the two the #8 runner will ingest all the crap from the engine through the PCV & foul the plug or potentially , the booster doesn`t care where it gets its vacuum from & the pvc is better distributed evenly to all the cylinder through the carb base

    The pvc are the the hoses there should come from the Valve Cover ?.

    yes the PCV is the vent / suction hose from the valve cover

    Hi Again.

    Super. it leed to the next question  :clueless: I have the moper Mopar Performance Valve Covers with the 2 crome Pvc valves. Is there a hose system to get them up the the carb there alo fits the Holley.

    no your covers have 2 chrome fill caps that twist in , Ford had a twist in fill cap that held the PCV valve in the top of it or you need to order the grommet kit from Mopar for those covers & knock out the hole at the other end of the cover & install the PCV valve in there

    Hi..

    I have the one fill cab and one breater on each valve cover. Will i could put the PVC valves in the Breater holes...

    There's a blank spot on the valve cover where it has to be drilled for the PCV valve grommet. I used the factory grommet (don't have the number handy) and PCV valve #5175351AA.

    I dont see a reason why u should run the oil fumes back to the engine again. I put the hoses in the ground or the headers so it doesnt mess up my engine. If you are building numbers matching show quality car with no mistakes at the engine compartment, then i would run them in the carb with pvc.

    there are reasons both ways , if you do not draw off some of the pressure you usually end up with more oil leaks as the pressure will find somewhere to go but as you said drawing air from inside the engine si not the best for combustion either

    Excessive pressure was causing oil seeps at the valve cover gaskets until I started using the breather/PCV combo.

    Hi Guys..

    Thanks for all the respons...

    I will take the vacuum to the booster for the carb for now, until i get some new valve coves.

    Breaters are Okey but sometime can I smell the engine in the cabin, so pcv will be the way to go.
