Heres to lumpy, are you a man or a mouse ?
« on: January 06, 2009 - 07:50:32 AM »
This is a follow up on lumpys' post.  did you ever think think we would be paying good money to watch the crap they put on TV.
With that is mind , what is you favorite TV show ?   currently running on broadcast TV  or cable in first run - not reruns.
ie...  Andy Griffith and Benny Hill show do not count.
It can be anything from a news show, The Sheild , This Old House  or Quilting with Nancy , you name it.

Just remember:  You look like you your dog , and you drive what you watch.    :smilielol:

They cancel all my favorites, Daybreak, Law & Order CI, Worst Enemy, Reba (wife's favorite). I just won't say that I like Chuck, I don't want to jinx it with the Lumpy Hex of Death :angelwings: I gues my favorite is Law & Order.

The Shield and Sons of Anarchy. The wife loves House and I like it too, his attitude is kind of like mine was when I was still a cop! :smilielol:

The Simpsons.

Classic television, been around for ages and will be for ages longer.  There is more history to the Simpsons legacy than anything on TV today.  Kudos for a show that has written over 300 episodes and can STILL be fresh, innovative and funny to this day.  Even shows like CSI and House have become repetitive and dull - each show has the same format - they're completely predictable.  House: person is normal, suddenly sick, goes to hospital, doctors discuss options, House throws curveball, nobody believes him, they try all the treatments, none work, House has epiphany, tries crazy treatment, patient is fine, the end.

heminut will appreciate this with his experience on the police force.  In the words of Mark Levin thank you for your service.     you can get a pretty accurate profile on people just by piecing together small bits of information about them.

This is a quote from viperman on another thread   "Doug - did you ever watch the Miniature Killer series on CSI?     That was some amazing stuff..."

He scares the hell out of me ...
