U.S. Army Air Defense.  Our motto was "If it flies it dies!"  Air Force pilots on both sides are scared when told we are in the area.  But, not to fear as our gunners are trained and tested regularly when it comes to aircraft recognition.  However, missiles have no allegiance.

Left the military in 1990 after the wall fell in Berlin.

That said, I want to express my heartfelt thanks to all of our men and women who have served and are still serving in all branches of our armed forces, and my prayers go to the families of service members who have given their all to protect our freedom.

Active duty Navy.  And no, I don't travel by ship. Never been on one except to load gear.  Everybody always asks what kind of ship I am on. It's like asking and Airman what kind of airplane he flies.

I am a Construction Mechanic. I used to work on Civil Engineering support equipment (Dozers, scraper, motorgraders, trucks, ...) now I am in a different capacity as a member of N.F.A.R.T's., Navy Fishing an Recreation Team's. Our current inventory is Chevy Suburbans, F-550's, F-350's, some vans, other stuff, and various riverine boats.

I am hoping to get outboard and air conditioning school pretty soon.

Good stuff
