I almost Lost My Life today... SAFETY AWARENESS...THINK SAFETY!
« on: January 07, 2009 - 02:32:35 PM »
It happened so fast I dont know what happened!!!!! The Jack Collapsed the car was in park I dont know???????? The floor jack rolled and I got crushed in between the car and the workbench....... My daughter flashed before my eyes.. I am so upset and in so much pain...... My chest and arms are crushed and in serious pain...I dont know how I got out? im going to the hospital to see if anything is cracked or broken.... maybe the new converter i installed and there was no pressure in the tranny for park to hold I dont know what happened...... Maybe my brother in heavan was looking out for me...... All I was doing is putting on my new 28" tires..... the underneath of the floor is crushed some also from the jack stand.... Ill look at it later..... RDF Ill get you the exhaust when I can....

Stroker,

Please don't worry about the exhaust....just get out to the hospital and get checked out.  I hope things are ok and let me know if I can do anything.

Yikes Jason!  Glad you got out of there alright. :2thumbs:  That reminds me of the time my former '69 Charger randomly dropped into reverse (fluids were full & it was locked in park) and came peeling out of the garage.  I was behind it about five seconds before this happened and attempted to get it stopped before it impaled my dad's semi, but really just had enough time to get in, go for the brake/key, and get a little whiplash from the impact. :eek7:
