Quarter Panel Skin 73 Challenger
« on: January 07, 2009 - 10:57:24 PM »
Looking online checking out prices on quarter panel skins for 73 Chally - best I've done so far is 180$ plus shipping (eBay). I checked out AMD and they only make full quarters. So anyway  - I know we have some suppliers who offer discounts to members. Can someone point me in the right direction or have the latest Year One coupon code? Goodmark part 2120-600-72L

Thanks!

Marty - advice from my body guy.

Do not use those Chinese partial quarters. They do not fit properly, the marker light stamping doesn't even mount the light properly, they do not have the tabs, mounting flanges are not here (and if they are are not right) and the  body lines have the incorrect radius'. We simply chopped my left one up for partial patches and even reused the original marker light stamping patched back in. My right one was a proper Moper Authentic full quarter jobby and it was literally thrown into place and fit. the Chinese ones cost a lot of bodywork hours to get correct.

I agree with 73Estroker on DO NOT use the skins as they are hand rolled and really do not fit that well. I know the full quarters are expensive BUT with will be alot happier with the out come and less labor intesive to in stall. unless your budge is restricted.  I do carry AMD and Goodmark I have skins and full quarters . let me know if you want some pricing.

May be double post...sorry about that

But yep - if you could PM me a quote that would be great. I need the driver side. I used Goodmark on the passenger side and it came out real well -
dark circles are where I need to fix the body work

Are you guys saying the goodmark stuff = cheap chinese stuff? Or are you just warning me away from off brands? Just want to make sure i'm getting the right stuff

When I looked AMD didn't make skin's for the 72 - 74 and a full quarter is just way more than I need (and a lot more expensive too!)

I checked my production list from AMD and they do NOT have any skins. only fulls quarters. Now on the 71-72 RR they do have a rear patch only.
