its not whos going faster, not to sound like a azz. take the extra 30 minutes and run your hand palm down over every square inch, youll be amazed at what you feel.
when you dont feel any variation, your smooth.

should be in primer by saturday. i only get about 4 hours a day to work on her.
ill start with fill primer, guide coat, and dry block. 150, 220, 400 grit

i dont wet sand.
after i blow the paint on, and its cleared,( and i use alotta paint and clear.)
i d.a. it with 1000 grit, then 1500, then 2000. looks like glass.

then i buff it out
i got pics of a black mustang i just did on here somewhere. its slick.

the vynil stripes and hood treatment will go on before the clear, and get that painted on look. i think you guys will like it.

its gonna look better than the chop, fo' sho' !!!

Awesome thread!
I'm new to body work and am battling some rust issues with mine right now (rear window lip), but seeing what you've done with your car is very inspiring!  :worshippy

So, I have to ask, have you put any color on it yet?
