Those look purty good, John. How'd you put the ribs in them? Bead Roller?

Did you ever think about just how different a bead roller and a bead blaster are?

well, here they are!!!

and my personal favorite!!!!

so waddya guys think?

John,

Hey bro have you concidered a bumble bee stripe?  How about the B5 with a B3 tail stripe with no blackout on the hood, black int. with wing?  I seen a 70 Challenger in a mag about 3 yrs ago with B5 and a light blue long stripes I think B3?  Anyways I thought it looked very cool as a combo and always thought it would be neat to see one with a bumble bee that way.  Oh yeah looking good bro.  Keep up the fast/good work!

still have alot of stitching to do, and the other side as well. ill tack that in tomorrow, then alternate as to not overheat the metal, and cause warping.

Love watching the step by step process since I don't do body work.  :grinyes:

Nice work so far... Just getting those two skins lined up and initially spot welded in must have been a ton of work.

well, sorta... :clueless:
still waiting on aaron to show me my other option. jy9 dark brown metallic / same stripe package. its how the car originally came, and i love cinnamon colored vehicles for some reason.

na, no problemo at all. look a few pics back, youll see the clecos holding the skin on. all ya do is make a incision about 8 inches long in between , and tack.
presto, its on, then you cut more, stitch, rinse and repeat till you finish.

heres one side finished, just needs a skim coat of filler( i hate the stuff personally)

heres basically what it looks like before finish grinding.

which is what ill be doing tomorrow on this side. then its finally on to the actual prep for paint!   :woohoo:

It is obvious that you know what you are doing and it really is looking good. I love these type of threads, watching the progress of a car being brought back to life.
