Nice Progress!!

The  body prep sure did not take you that  long. Man, I wish I could dedicate more than a few hours at a time to my cause. Looking great!
I noticed that your seam on your drivers side decklid to quarter panel is a little tigh as it gets to the tail panel. I have the same issue. How did you get yours as good as it looks/ I struggled with mine. (lots of cursing too)

What color are you planning on doing?

Best,

Dan

the decklid is actually sitting high in the center, and low at the bottom, hence the appearance. i have a better one im gonna try.
still waiting on aarons rendering, then ill decide on a color.

test fit the valances, and header today. reinstalled the fenders and other decklid i had as well.
lined up fine. the rear wasnt to shabby, but still needed some abuse to straighten. the front had a fold in it. took some beating to straighten it out. trim was wasted, so i tossed it. time to go shopping!

I noticed both quarter skins have a wave in the body line above the marker light. Must be a problem with the dyes they are stamped in. My skins have the same issue. Mine is also alittle goofy below the gas filler opening. We cut out the opening from the old quarter to weld into the new one. That should solve the issue with the flip top cap fitting properly. Nice job on your ride. I guess I need to start a build thread on mine.

Holy @#$%!!
I'm gone for a little over a month and your Chally's almost done.....body work wise  :clapping: :worshippy

I didn't know that you were going to use the full drivers quarter. I thought you were just gonna use it for patches..........cool, great to see her finally put to good use

By the way, what did you do/use to prep the inner quarter/floor pans/inner fenders before you applied the gatorliner?

Thanks man, and great job

Love the combo!!  The white hood stripe and wide white side stripe really set it off.

Is it just me or is that a chop of a right-hand drive car?  I keep thinking I'm seeing a shadow of a steering wheel on the right side of the car.

Weird, you know your right!  I thought it was a reversed pic but the gas cap is on the correct side....  :dunno:

Hey John are you going to shoot some color on where you gator lined it?  Was wondering what I will do to mine when I get there to make it more sound proof and better rust protection as well.
Got a pretty good start on my M46 optioned Barracuda restoration but now it is on hold till I can gather more funds.  Still need a few parts for it.  SIU Graduate 75 AAS Automotive Tech, 94 BS Advanced Tech Studies, 1997 MSED Workforce Education and Development
