Hey John, next time could you possibly be a little more vague if that is possible
You have to realize that we are not all immortal body work vikings
Some of us do not even know how to "simply" prep a panel properly
Hence the reason we ask
So all I have to do before applying the gator liner is clean a panel with soap
My car will be done in no time
"nancy blue"
You must really love my chop then
your such a jackass jeff!!
thats why we get along so well.
by cleaning i mean:
remove all debris (judging by your garage pics, i can take a 5 year break before even typing the next step!!)
rough surface up a bit with something abrasive (and no!! your personality will not work this time)
make sure all loose materials are eliminated. (i.e. vacuum them up)
once you are sure the area is clean of debris (see step 1) then you can use a cleaning agent such as a degreaser , remember here, your not trying to remove paint, just the contaminants.
the following only apply to jeff.
no huffing of chemicals
do not use oriental components!!!
do not exceed your body weight in alchohol consumed before beginning the procedure.
i truly hope that clarified everything to your satisfaction my friend(s)
and yes, i love your chop , nancy.
