its about 95 here, been at it all day, sweat is gods way of telling you that you are working hard.

John,

You are missing the plastic inserts between your bumpers.  It makes your valance to low or off ect.  Same with your front bumper, it looks too far out.  If this were my ride I would get some 70-72 front and rear bumper brackets along with the same year rear bumper stops (the smaller ones).  I know mopardave carries all these pieces because I looked into it for my car.  Good luck bro.

Yep I did but were they a different colour before? Or is that how you freshen them up?How do you prep them so the paint sticks? Paint is not my area of expertise!

oh, my bad.

same color, just take a 3m scuff pad to em.
degrease em.
dust em, then wait about 5 minutes and blow a decent coat on em.

 LOL Darn newbie's huh!  :wave:They look great! I got some panels too. I spent an afternoon with a scrub brush soap and water and then on one panel I tried some Meguires tire shine stuff I had lying around. Soaked it in then wiped it off. It looks great and not greasy like armour all is. I have to compensate when I can't pain! LOL All my panels that came with the car are different colours mostly burn orange then everything painted black. Looks bad as some area's rubbed off. That's why I'm replacing it all!

heres what i got done today...

got the first stage buffing going after sanding with 1k, 1500, and the black pad.

its starting to shine, and show its true depth.

it will get better.




also got sick of my rear bumper looking like a rack for one of those hoveround gimmicks they send me mail on all the time!!!
