    These are pics of my 70 challenger I bought 12 months ago. She definitely needed a makeover, I removed the sunroof, had her painted, interior re-done and replaced the hood. She has a nice little performer 318 in her, but wants to go bigger. I have a 440 and a 70 340 to choose from. sparky

    Got a pretty good start on my M46 optioned Barracuda restoration but now it is on hold till I can gather more funds.  Still need a few parts for it.  SIU Graduate 75 AAS Automotive Tech, 94 BS Advanced Tech Studies, 1997 MSED Workforce Education and Development

    The picture of the car when it was green is how he bought it, the black pic is how it is after fresh paint. It is such a blast to have a nice Challenger running around town now. Hey Steve, sweet car dude.

    Ha ha I also had a sunroof that I "originally" cut into my roof too in 1980.  I tried to change it back around 1989 but had to have a whole roof put on when I used too much heat to weld my patch in.

    The sunroof was not factory, although I originally hoped it was. Just didn't look right to me so I had to get rid of it.

    If I go with the 440 no problem. It will be a while since I am going to pick up the 340 tommorrow, shell out the money for her and will still have to rebuild either on prior to the swap. I just have to get some cash flow going again. Sparky

    Sparky,

    Very nice work on the Challenger.  It's a little odd that someone along the line thought to put on a 1971 tail light assembly (kinda goes with the sunroof), although stranger things have happened.

    With the help of everyone on this board, I am putting together my own 1970 Challenger TA Tribute that will have the 340/727 & suregripe along with all of the TA accents.  Can't wait to have it done!
