I have installed at least 8 systems all but 1 fit perfectly , the one bad one the tail pipe touched the lip of the gas tank with the tip level in the cuda valance so I think the tip was welded on a few degrees off, since then I have ordered the Cuda systems with unwelded tips & weld them on myself

I'm looking at the stainless 2.5 system from magnaflow? anyone have pictures of this system installed? I've read in this thread about the tips not fitting with this system? I really want to use the R/T style tips too, I guess some cutting and pasting will be required? Would be nice to see some pictures of this system installed? Maybe I'll be the guinea pig? LOL

Wanted to go stainless on mine but I got the stainless tips in 2 inch. So I am not sure I will be able to find something that will work. I am willing to go 2.5 and step down at the end but want to make sure the stock style duel tip will still look correct. I don't care if the system is not stock really but want the hind end to look right. So i am really back and forth between the mufflers and res. or a single set of turbo mufflers.
I am running a pretty stock 318. with a 4brl intake and stock exhaust manifolds.

The tip will look fine. My car steps down from the 2 1/2 to fit the stock tip and because of the length of the tips you can't see the transition. You would have to crawl under the car to see it and it doesn't look bad at all.

Here's what I'm looking at buying? If you go to their web site it's cheaper than e-bay! They have different sizes too bigger and smaller!

The other thing that needs to be noted (if it was noted earlier in this thread sorry I didn't check) is that the Magnaflow kits are from the header collector back, so if you are running manifolds you will have to get pipes from the manifolds to the magnaflow pipes, not a big deal, but something to be aware of. Also the stainless pipe from magna flow does blue, mine did on the cuda.

As far as PG Classic goes and their prices, whatch their ebay store. Around this time of year every year that I have shopped with them so far they do like an inventory blow out and list a bunch of new items on ebay with no reserve and start at a dollar. I have gotten some great deals that way as much as 75% off the retail price.

I just bought a pair of these in 2" to fit my factory style mufflers. I will post how they look when I get them. He has them in 2 & 2-1/2 I think.

Still need to get the rear muffler hangers and I will have all my hardware except clamps. Dale's Cuda shop has the best price on those. I think I have used five different sources to get the best prices overall.

Has anyone run the factory type mufflers next to the gas tank, with tips, and NO resonators under the seats?

I looked at those as they are so close to me but, I don't like how they "neck" down on the input side I want 2 1/2 all the way through. No restrictions.

I sware by PG but I found a guy in the states that sells them on ebay for much cheaper. He has the 2 and 2.5 in stainless cost less the PGs
http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&item=120354577568 This was the set I won, but check his auctions and make sure to look at them all. He post them at 2 different prices for some reason. One is cheaper. They are totaly the same as PG's

They are cheaper but, see how they neck down where you weld them to the pipes? It's only as good as the smallest dia. when you consider flow? Just my 2 cents?

I just bought a magnaflow system off e-bay.  ( 2 1/2 ) I offered $435 and he took it. He is out of TN I'm going to my Inlaws in PA next weekend so I'll pick it up then. I'll post pictures when I can.
