Sleepy that is just a guess at this point.... every combo seems to like something different.... but knowing your setup for now and educated guess would be the 1" 

here is my vote and not a bad price.... I ran these under my old dual quad setup and the throttle response was real good....

If its gonna be a 1" spacer what about this one? Its only 12 bucks and its plastic so it will not transfer heat from the intake to the carb.

Plastic would be good. Anything you do to decrease the temp of the fuel will add HP. That's why I prefer electric pumps to the mechanical ones bolted to the hot motor.

A spacer is an awesome way to prevent vapor lock. My fuel bowls feel much cooler than the intake. In my case, I found that my car liked the open spacer alot more than the 4-hole variety.  Like was mentioned, every engine combo will like something different.
