I hope they stay around also because they are the only one I have yet to work for on the corp level.  I always wanted to but just did not get the offer.  I will have to read it tomorrow my internet is so slow tonight the page will not load
Got a pretty good start on my M46 optioned Barracuda restoration but now it is on hold till I can gather more funds.  Still need a few parts for it.  SIU Graduate 75 AAS Automotive Tech, 94 BS Advanced Tech Studies, 1997 MSED Workforce Education and Development

How could they sell off the individual brands?  Such a large majority of their vehicles use the same platform across each brand.  Chrysler Sebring/Dodge Stratus, Chrysler Aspen/Dodge Durango, Chrysler Town&Country/Dodge Caravan...  How can you sell off Chrysler and Dodge separately?

They can't legally sell off any brands as Daimler own 19% of Chrysler a a whole which prevents them from parting it out. This has been why
they have had such volatile negotiations between Cerberus and Daimler for the remaining 19%.

Really?  They couldn't spin off Mopar as a separate entity?  There's part of the company that is concerned with new models and sales, and then there's a part that dedicated to support and maintenance of cars already on the road.  It seems like a pretty clear dividing line.  At 19% would Daimler have a voice in that decision?
