The B-body bench seats should fit but they're completely different in appearance. The b-body seats are a square top with headrests. The e-body version has high back seat backs very similar to the bucket seats. From the outside of the car, you would think that it had bucket seats.
I would like to use the late b-body bench seat version of the Pistol grip shifter and was told that it would not clear the e-body bench seat due to the seat being too far forward. I'll definitley mock it up before cutting on my new seat covers.
I've been trying to add pics but I keep being told that the "upload folder is full". ???

My 70 Barracuda /6 was a bench seat with the AT on the column.Mine was Glacier Blue with blue interior. My friend had a 71 Cuda 440-6 pack with a bench seat .It was White with blue interior. I drove that Cuda, it was wicked. :burnout: Years ago we looked at a red AAR that had a bench seat. Black interior.  A guy here has a 70 Cuda 440 with a bench seat. His Cuda is B5 with blue interior. Actually, I think they are called a split bench.

I own one. I'm embarrassed to post this, but it's what the interior of my '70 Chally looked like the day I got it. I don't have a more recent pic, but I assure you it's much nicer now!  ::)

Back in the '80's a guy was parting out a chally and it had blue interior.  It had a bench seat with a column shifter on it! sure hated to see him part it out!  and now knowing it is so rare bet you anything HE wishes he didn't part it out! BUT back in the '80's these we throw away cars!!  He GAVE me the bench seat but I can't remember what happened to it!

We used to pull the bench seats out and toss them. Now, I look for used bench seats at swap meets. My 71 Cuda is a Tor red, 340, 727 with a bench seat.
Strange how I now think that they look cool after all these years.  :)
