:clueless:

are you saying the RR top is paint?

Yes it is.....I didn't think he was talking to me, as I know this because I took the pic, and saw it up close.
Here's the original size so you can see the detail better.

I remember reading somewhere that the roof vinyl on that green Road Runner is in fact a huge sticker or decal ? is this true ?

Yep. Bus wrap, the stuff they use for large graphics on large commercial vehicles.

I am pretty sure I saw that very car in person earlier this year in Albuquerque. The guy and his wife had some mod top made or made their own. It looked pretty cool in person even though its not my thing.

A decal definitely makes much more sense

I definitely would go with actual vinyl though, not that I don't love the look of the decal.

Everytime at work that I install the decals on the side of boats I tend to get some bubbles no matter what, so I think I'll avoid the decal process  :eek4:

Hey hedkace, of course you get bubbles in water mate, get ripples and all in water, should fit the decals before you put the boats in the water buddy, Mom always said you would make a splash some day, boy was she right............. and i remember the bubbles you blew at bath time, as soon as you giggled, i knew to hold my nose.......... Just thought i would try make your life that little bit easier this morning

Though many lessons from mother fell by the wayside, like decal installation apparently, I was able to learn the importance of proper symmetry from her
