The front Bumperettes were an option for 'Cuda and Barracuda in 1970 and 71 :2thumbs:

I'm pretty sure if you have the fog lamps (standard on 70 Cudas) they interfere with the bumper guards. So i dont know how that was handled, if they would delete the fog lamps or not allow front bumper guards on the Cuda's in 1970.

Not sure where you got this "Fog Lamps Standard on 70 Cuda" info. L34 is the code.

I have to pull some factory literature out of my library, i think in 70 they were standard on the Cuda, in 71 they were optional. Just from memory, and i'm on my second pitcher of harp...I'll check tomorrow.

Fog Lamps were optional like most everything else.   :2cents:
Got a pretty good start on my M46 optioned Barracuda restoration but now it is on hold till I can gather more funds.  Still need a few parts for it.  SIU Graduate 75 AAS Automotive Tech, 94 BS Advanced Tech Studies, 1997 MSED Workforce Education and Development

Checked my info and i was correct, 70 Cudas were equipped with fog lamps as STANDARD equipment. The 1970 Barracuda brochure shows Cudas as having road lamps, and a illustrated features book shows the road lamps as standard equip. on 70 Cudas and optional on barracudas and gran coupes. Also, I have an accessories report from Galen that shows front bumper guards on Cudas as "NOT AVAILABLE"

In 1971, the road lamps were an option on Cudas, but again, in 1970 they were standard equip.

If your 70 Cuda does not have fog lamps, either thet were removed in the past, or it slipped thru without em.

Found the harness for the road lamps under the dash and the road lamp relay fasten next to the clock (rallye dash). So I guess my 'cuda came with road lamps as well.

Every cuda in 70 was coded on the build sheet for fog lamps. They couldn't be ordered fog lamp delete. I am sure some dealers yanked them and put on the guard package, but the buildsheet will show they are supposed to be there.

Just wanted to say that though all 1970 Cudas came with fog lights, my friends 1970 Cuda does not have them. His car is a 1970 Cuda (not a Barracuda or Gran Coupe), has the proper "BS" vin number. There is no fog light switch, no fog light mounting brackets or fog light wire harness. My guess is that it shipped from the factory without fog lights or the previous owner removed them, removed the switch and removed the wire harness. This seems strange though.  :clueless:
