It's all in fun I guess. I think by beating a car in a race is bragging rights in it own. No need to be a jerk afterwards. So a friendly thumbs up just shows good sportsmanship.
I love my Mopars, but I love the whole atmosphere of muscle cars. When ever I watch any older movies from the 70's, Dazed and Confused to be more percise (i bought in both on VHS & DVD, man what a movie), I just wish I was a part of that. I can only dream of what it was like driving around Detroit back in the day. MUSCLE EVERYWHERE
There are not many older Mopars around here, well none that drive them regularly. I think I am the only one that just drives one around and not just to shows. I was on my way to Moparfest last year and I was meeting up with some others at a Tim Hortons when 4 other guys drove up going to the same show. We all cruised on up together. Man was that awsome. There was another 'Cuda, a '73 340 car. Very nice and clean with a brand new bronze metallic paint job. There was also a dark green AAR, a green Charger (wow was his exhaust loud, 3" pipes that ended out before the rear tires
), a 2dr custom, and a 69 swinger that was being trailered by a big 'ol Ram.
I think every on ramp on the Highway another mopar came on adding to the convoy. I don't htink I even turned onthe radio the whole ride up. We must of had about 12-13 cars driving toghter. I only knew 1 other guy, but we all drove up together.
That reminds me, I have some amazing pics that I will scan and post. There was this #'s matching red AAR Cuda with only 5400 origianal miles on it. I think my jaw dropped when I saw it. I have a few pics of that. Some other mopars as well. I will try and post them later today or tomorrow.
