Differences between rallye wheel series

Can anyone please enlighten me about the differences between 41, 48, 61, etc. series of rallye wheels?  :clueless:

They all look the same on the pictures i've seen and i'd like to find the one that is "factory correct" for my 70 Challenger.

In 1970, the Rallye wheel was 15" in diameter. The numbers don't mean squat unless you want to have EXACTLY the correct wheel. The important thing for looks, is that the trim rings and center caps are correct. Yours look great in the picture, but the centers look a little bright. If I remember correctly, the centers were dark Argent in 1970, and the wheel was light Argent. Date codes and correct stampings for production line, etc, are for those interested in concours correctness.

Those centers look correct for a '70.  They were dark argent in '71.

On B and E-bodies they were; the A-bodies got 14" Rallyes with a 5x4" bolt circle. The 14" Rallyes for the E-bodies came later. The Road Wheel (Magnum 500) was 14".

14" & 15" Rallye wheels were available on the 1970 E-Bodies. Check this page from the 1970 Dodge Data Book from the Challenger section;

Wheels were an option and the size was also an option no matter what car you had.  14' were on my car and several cars I owned. 
Got a pretty good start on my M46 optioned Barracuda restoration but now it is on hold till I can gather more funds.  Still need a few parts for it.  SIU Graduate 75 AAS Automotive Tech, 94 BS Advanced Tech Studies, 1997 MSED Workforce Education and Development

Sorry fat fingers so to speak they are 14" so now I am corrected.  Guess I need to put my glasses on so I can see.
