Bob Munden was extremely fast with a shotgun too, and probably hasn't slowed down much as he's gotten older! We used to have national fast draw competitions here in Deming back in the 80's, it was quite a thing to watch. There was an old guy who lived here named Bob Dudley who was a national competitor but you would never know it by looking at him. He looked like a retired school teacher and just kind of got into fast draw by accident, before that he wasn't really interested in guns! He could draw and fire 5 rounds that sounded like one shot by fanning the hammer with his thumb, forefinger, little finger, then thumb and little finger again. The reason for 5 shots was because the single action guns used are never loaded with a live round under the hammer. He passed away several years ago, but the World Fast Draw Association still lists him as holding a world record.
