Yeah, seems like its always the same handful of people who post.
Yep.....that's usually how it is on every message board.

We sould really be grateful that we have such a large "handful" of folks that do post here.
I've been on a few boards that literally do have but a handfull of posts
Everyone who has gained something off this board should at least contribute something as a token of appreciation.
If you have the time to lurk, and learn something that can benefit you, then you certainly should have the time to contribute at the very least a "thank you"

Speaking of lurkers and members, what do the rank titles mean under the user name?
How is it controlled?

They don't really mean anything.  When your post count gets to a certain level, you move up to the next level of membership, but it doesn't confer any extra benefits, save a little respect.  Higher post count generally means the member is more active.  Occasionally, a senior member will offer stuff for sale and either open it up only to Sr. Members and above or offer a discount to other senior members, but that's about the extent of the the privilige.

You've probably noticed you're no longer a  :newbie:.  The levels are:

 :newbie: - 1-99 posts
Jr. Member - 100-499
Full member - 500-999
Senior Member - 1,000 - 1,999
Resident - 2,000 - 9,999
Permanent Resident - 10,000 - ?

If you go the Members page, accessible from the blue links bar and then sort by post count (just click "Posts"), you can see the progression for yourself.

Respect? I have a friend that comes by my place and every place and he can't stop talking about anything and everything.
He still doesn't know much but if he was on here he would have full fleged Permanent Residents.
LOL
