That is the only '71 I have ever seen in person (or even in pictures) with a gold vinyl top. The 1971 Gold was very dark. In '73 and '74 you could also get Challengers with gold tops, but they are much lighter in color. I have seen only 1 of them in person and pics of 2 others. Here is one of them though it looks like they swapped bumpers.

GY9 Dark Gold  Metallic is the Dodge equivellant.

I believe the '71 is still owned by the original owner. It's also a Mopar Survivor. And yes it is a Hemi.

I wish I had a high res version of the posted picture (or any of that car) for my Challenger colors page.

My 71 Gran coupe was this color combo. But it had a nasty beige interior IMO in it.
