Northern members.... got COLD GEAR??

I got some new under armor a little while back and I gotta say throw your old thermals away!! \\ Today my waste oil furnace took a dump, the oil pressure regulator needs a kit. So no HEAT in the shop today!! The high today was 19 degrees. Not the coldest, but no summer day either! I was wearing my new cold gear and wasn't cold all day!! I admit I kinda freaked when i first saw what they want for this stuff (and I got it on sale!) But for our northern brethren who work or play in this cold weather... This stuff is BIGS tested and approved!!!!

So what kind of thermals are they??

I use columbia thermals.  They work great.

Doesn`t work for me I get cold anyway ,but then my body refuses to produce heat

With the onset of Global Warming here in Ohio, 12" of snow and freezing temps,  and the same people predicting a mild winter, I bought some coats, overalls and vests when Dickies had a 75% off sale.

The brand is UNDER AMOUR, maybe made by the same place your columbias are. These dont even look like regular thermals tho...

Forgot to add,  .... so the guy gets here with the furnace parts... THEN THE POWER GOES OUT!!!!

Ahem.... UNDER ARMOR. "Armor" like prtection or a shield.

It is a blend of nylon and polyester. They make athletic appearal like shorts, socks, and under wear. Thier blends are supposed to wick moisture away from your skin keeping you dryer, therefore cooler. I have hade the thermals for awhile and won't use anything else when I'm in below 35 ish degree weather. Watchout you don't wear them when it's too warm or you could get too hot and want to pull them off.
You can get them through sporting goods stores, Cabela's, Gander Mountain, Under Armor website,.....
