What is my problem?
« on: January 28, 2009 - 11:13:27 AM »
With the past?  I wish I lived in it.  Last fall I picked up a '74 Honda Trail 90 for $50 from my brother in law in awesome shape.  I'll post a pic of that later.

I picked this up yesterday for $100, 1800 miles on it, all original.  My dad had his old John Deere helmet, so he snapped a pic.  Action shot, lol.

Yep, from '72 to '84, basic overview here:

Yeah, my Dad still claims his back problems were from all the riding he did back in the day.   :roflsmiley:  They leave a lot to be desired in terms of ride quality compared to ones made today.

Who, me?

No, not really.   :icon16:  He knew what it was worth, but longtime friends of his gave it to him for nothing.  So he sold it to me for what he had into it.  I put another $200 into it, exhaust pipe was most of that.  It still needs a couple things.  It has a lot of miles, but was kept really well.  It runs great.

I really cant get any more toys right now.  3 vehicles, a motorcycle, and a snowmobile is enough.  All but my Magnum are decent investments.

My dad had a '72 500, and a liquifire, too, he said that was fast.  Yeah, there are snowmobiles everywhere up here, all kinds of makes.  I've seen a Massey that a guy has just down the road a mile and a half, its basically brand new yet, with the dealer sticker is the only thing that was added/changed.  Rupp, Massey, JD, Mercury, Raider, everybody had a snowmobile back in the day.
