Pretty good story too. That guy hounded the owner since the mid 1980's to buy the car from him.

It was found about 2500 miles away, a little off my beaten path.

HOly that car must have been far north! What a rare car to make it all the way up there. Has to be near 1of 1.

Don't believe everything you read in those magazines. There may be 5 known, but there is no way to know how many were built until you account for all of them.

I personally know of 5 (at least).

In related notes:

I almost bought the one Daniel Banker later owned.

HMM asked me last year if they could shoot my FM3/V6M car. I turned them down until I get the car where I want it. Looks like I missed my chance.

I know of a 6pk FM3 challenger that's been hidden for a long time.  Legit too.  So there are definately more than 5 out there.  I wonder what the value would be on one of them?

I'd love to have a real V code FM3 challenger....I thought my FM3, 318-3spd manual Deputy coupe car was cool...lol.  Its got nothing on that car.

Personally, I would rather have an original Deputy.

The "one of five" thing, as Ken stated, there is no way to know how many were actually made.

Years ago it was published that ony 28 T/As were made in Pather Pink. I know of 74 so far, & this number can only go up as more folks register their cars.
