Sorry I am late on reading this.  I am glad to read the update and that he will be OK.  My friend (who got me into mopars to beging with) got in a bad accident this past fall.  He was going slow (in town) and got cut off.  While trying to get out of the way of the car who cut him off, he was hit in thehead by an SUV.  He shattered his arm and eye socket.  He was really bad, but is now home and recovering.  I am so glad my husband doesn't ride a bike., I would be worried all of the time.

Glad to hear your friend is Ok and will recover, allbeit with some disability. At least he's still in the land of the living. My best friend lost his entire left arm in a tragic motorcycle accident. I love classic bikes, but have always been afraid to buy one for fear of the "other guy". Hope your friend gains full use of both wrists!! :angelwings:
