Not sure if these count or not by XJ and WJ Jeeps. I love Jeeps. :2thumbs: The blacker, the better. Straight 6 4.0L for the XJ and the WJ with a 4.7L HO V8, Overland model. For every other vehicle, it must have performance. If I want to get somewhere slow, I'll walk. ;D

Mid 60's DeSoto.  Especially 56 or 57.  Those are some gorgeous cars.

Something with a bench seat. It's gotta look good on the outside though, otherwise your going nowhere. Not worried about motor or trans an doubt she will either.

That extra room without the console allows so many maneuvering options.  (If ya know what I mean). :naughty:

I used to own an International Scout II 74' I kinda like the removable top off road deal.

What a torquey bastard it was. One time stuck at the bottom of a ravine. Put er in 4 Low and gave it hell fire screamin to the top and made it out. Yeah, I'd get another.

Hmm, I can't really think of something that's low performance other than a new Camry for its gas mileage. :dunno:  I've been seeing some cool Euro-spec cars that look alright and must get good mileage, but don't remember what their make/models were. ::)

I had a `76 Dodge van /6 three spd on the floor,no side windows.Loved that thing and drove it from NH thru upstate NY to the Mopar Nationals back in `89 with the wife and camping gear.Made the whole trip no problem but I always had to hit the slow truck lane on the big hills and drop it into third as the old tired /6 didn`t have the nuts to keep the speed up in OD

I`d love to have my old cop car back-`87 Gran Fury 318,great driving car.
I`m keeping my eye out for a spring-fall daily driver and I`d like anything listed-
Any year Satellite 2 or four door
`70-`73 C-body
Any old cop car
`76- road runner or R/T or even a lowly Volare/Aspen
All will probably have a 318 as I`ve a bunch of `em and they are great running engines you can`t kill and can get decent mileage.

At the time, not exacly considered a "low" performace car. But a 64 Sport Fury with the high po 383, 4 bl.. Midnight blue with light blue interrior. My first Mopar bought in 65. The 426 Hemi had just come out into production that year and the 440 was still three years away. But to todays muscle car standards it would be a lower performance car I guess. Why oh why did I sell it? Didn't have too, some guy wanted it bad and offered me about half again what I paid for it. .............bucket seats, console shift, mallory ignition, factory dual exhaust. And boy oh boy did that lil redhead look hot in my car...............don't have her either.  :roflsmiley:

A Karmann Ghia would be nice as a low performance cruiser:

Any four door C-body for fun cruising with friends, and loads of tasty stuff in the trunk.

The Duster that IMNCARN82 posted a picture of, it just hit me hard in a good way. Instant like, and I usually prefer the Demon when it comes to that generation of A-bodies.
