Any info on this 73 Cuda 340?? I wanna buy it!
« on: January 30, 2009 - 08:26:40 PM »
Need help...

I'm a newb to the site and to Mopar, I'm finally going for it...a Cuda.  Please check out this car, the resto is amazing and I love the 6 pack mod.  Being such a well done car I'm thinking that maybe somebody here has some backgound info on it...it's been on the market for a while so I'm sure a lot of you have seen it.

Thoughts?

Boy, that sure looks like a nice car.  Not familiar with the going rates but from what I could see it seems reasonable.  Looks like they built it like they wanted it.  I like it.  I've always liked the round taillights on the later Cuda's.

Oh, and welcome aboard.  This site is great and there are a lot of good and very helpful people on here.

Very nice car and really clean, I would offer $26,000 to $27,000 .  Yes, even 73 are getting up there in price.

And this one is probably worth it.  :2thumbs:

Well...I'm going tomorrow and see what I can negotiate, there's a video on youtube from them offering the car from almost a year ago and saw an expired ad at $39K so I'm guessing they're taking quite a hit on this one at $29, at least they'll try to break even...we'll see, can't wait.  Thanks guys...

The car looks sweet.  Just a couple things I noticed because I'm an original owner of a 73 Cuda.
1.  Bumperettes (rubber tips) are missing from front and rear bumpers.  (see pic)
2.  There is no chrome molding going around the trunk lid edge.  (see pic)
3.  There is no chrome molding on the door tops.  (see pic)

I'm not picking, just pointing out some minor details.  Also, it seems that there is no inside hood release, because the guy opened the hood from the outside.
Its done up very, very nice.  Hope you get it!

29k seems like a great deal! Those small details that hooD pointed out can be easily fixed. If it looks as good in person as it does in the pics I'd go for it!

Inside hood release was an extra cost option.
