Dear Al,

I'm having trouble finding women to date. Is there a place to find intelligent women, in their early to mid 20s, that don't drop subtle hints (which I will never get) and enjoy cars? Am I asking too much?

Another question. How can I put away more money for my restoration? It seems that most of my money goes to my daily driver instead.  :money:

Thanks,
Jim

Dear Jim,  If you can find a stable woman in her 20's then you just found a 1 of 1.  As far money for restoration goes, stay away from women in there 20's that command high maintenance :money:   Then you will start seeing leaves take shape on your money tree :2thumbs:

Dear Alan,   I am so confused. My wife encourages me to work on my Challey, says she likes to see a sweaty working man, but every time I spend a day in the garage she pouts, says I love that dahm car more than her, then we argue about all the honey do's around the house that I should have done instead.  After a while she apologizes, then we have makeup XXX for hours on end.   I just don't know what do do, rotate the tires or rearrange the furniture.

I think a few "Dear Abby" verses might fit in here.  ( For any John Prine fans out there )

Dear Alan,
Dear Alan,

Now who'd ever thought,
That me & my girlfriend would ever get caught ?

We were out in the back seat,
Just shootin the breeze,

With her hair up in curlers &
her pants to her knees.

Dear baffled in Bama,    It is shear coincidental that I talked to your wife a few weeks back and she did have some comments that made me chuckle.  She had mentioned that you take a lot of naps during the days off and that she is happy just to see you move and stir once in a while.  so it seems that the right parts start to move around as you wake up and this starts everything off with a bang. Then your energy goes away again and it's nap time again. Such is the life of a droan. So mayby if you re arrange the couch to a closer location, you will have time to rotate tires, service the wifes problem areas around the home and have more time to dream cruise.    Happy dreams

Dear Alan,

I've been going to a car show for the past three summers and every year has been better than the last.  This will be my fourth year attending with friends and I really want it to be a special one.  What do you think I should cook for everyone during the car show?  What would you like if you were to be there?

Dear muscle motor from Ohio

The parts you have now has been killer at times.  You have been healing up and doing fine. The list you had is shorter today, so building your engine is coming your way.  Thanks for the gift, as I have one for you, it's always a blast having a friend like you

Thank you for the alternator Jason.............ALAN

It's always a blessing when long distance friends can find time to get together and fellowship in the hobbies we all shared.  If we just broke bread together that is fine with me.   As far as food, i AM EASY TO PLEASE. I LIVE ON THE ROAD.  Anything cooked by a friend is a dinner well worth eating.  If im buying it's steak for everyone. Except for the few dieters that always want skinless chicken breast...lol
